Did you know that whales are marine ecosystem engineers? They participate in nutrient cycling processes and help to increase primary production in the oceans, and carbon sequestration. These whales travel across the planet, and through annual monitoring during their breeding season on the Brazilian coast, we can try to understand phenomenon’s that happen across all oceans.
